Carron Medical Centre

I have seen majority of doctors in this surgery. All their attitudes displayed are they look like can't be bothered and you feel you are troubling them with your ailments.I went in with a back problem. All I got prescribed was pills. When I told them not happy with that I had to come in with letters from osteopath, physio and a chiropracticer and beg for mrI scan. THe doctor refused my request stating they were not properly medically trained. It when I threatened to walk out as I said I do not want to be on pills as I do a safety critical job and just want to find out what going on as oppose to being supplied with endless pills. Only then after walking to the door that they agreed. I do not go to the doctors very often. Rarely may be once every few years but their attitude towards me is as if I am there all the time beging them. Another time I phoned to check if my tetanus was up to date after being bitten by a dog based on the info on the nhs website.I was promised a call back. I waited 5 hours and then had to threaten to make an appointment as according to nhs website thete be serious reprucussions if i didnt, before they eventually told me!!! I do not recommend and as for getting an appointment, forget it
