Following what now appears to have been my third TIA, the particular consultant with whom my NHS consultation was arranged prescribed Lansoprazole and Clopidogrel, and Atorvastatin. My Cholesterol was 4 point something, not high, and my blood pressure was also not high. My concern is not to suffer a stroke, or a recurrance. I assume that the first two are to thin my blood rather than use Aspirin. I have not been aware of any consequence of taking any of these medications, and I would never recommend taking any medication to others, My life quality us unchanged, no side effects, and I have little idea of how any of it works. I leave that to the Consultant. If he messes up, I will suffer, and become a statistic, that's all I know. I feel occasional short headache type spasms in my head, but assume that it is just blood passing through wherever. I have no idea whether or what damage might have resulted from the TIA. I am living my life as before and travelling overseas for two months from next week. I hope to have a follow up appointment after my return.
