Cardiologist started me on this to stop heart racing. So far not working well. Can no longer walk around the block without extreme fatigue. So far not impressed at all in this drug

I was prescribed Flecainide to treat atrial fibrillation but it caused more serious atrial flutter. I had to ask my GP to take me off these and prescribe standard low dose beta blockers.

Instead of taking this drug - 2 tablets twice a day, I chose to take to take one tablet 4 times daily. This eliminated any dizziness I was experiencing after taking them.

Successfully controlled my Atrial fibrillation for 10 years before I was ready for an ablation and now, no atrial fibrillation! Yay!
