I was prescribed this drug to manage pain associated with ME/CFS. It did relieve the pain, but it turned me into a zombie for the years I took it. I found it incredibly difficult to come off it too, even though my doctor assured me that it was not addictive. I would not recommend anyone takes it for the purpose I was prescribed it. At least not without knowing about the horrendously debilitating side effects.
