I had an appointment with this consultant this morning. What a lovely man. Very kind and with a wonderful sense of humour. It is a shame there are no more like him as some can hardly crack a smile. Please hang on to him he takes any anxiety away and that is important with patients.

Recommended the overall best option for my ankle fracture by looking at how the fracture impacted my day to day life, and at the end of the consultation I realised that it was not stopping me from carrying out my day to day life. The different management options were well explained to me, and overall a conservative management was decided upon which works perfectly well for me, and Dr V made me feel at ease with this treatment!

Mr V is very professional with a wonderful approachable personality. He listens to the patient and answers in a language that is both understandable and informative. His knowledge and understanding of problems relating to feet is excellent. I have had several sucessful operations on my feet over the years under the care of Mr V and I would highly recommend him to any member of my family or friends. He is caring, compassionate, professionable and above all he will explain to the patient the expected realistic outcomes.

Mr V is just an incredible surgeon. After suffering in pain for years with a foot deformity, he is working to reconstruct my foot when I had lost all hope. From the start he had the knowledge, excellent experience and explained his plan of treatment with compassion and empathy. Great communication, any questions are answered and explained taking time to be clear and understood. Gives good clear directions and instructions to help with procedures and recovery.
