Prof Zoe Winter was recommended to me by a friend who had also recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, as absolutely brilliant. In our first consultation I immediately felt that I was in deeply expert, professional and caring hands. Prof Winter explained everything in great detail and her accompanying senior nurse Alex Olayu was extremely supportive covering before and after consultations to make sure I was as clear, reassured and comfortable as possible. The breast cancer diagnosis was the most frightening episode of my life so far and there are no words to describe my gratitude for Prof Winter and her exceptional team and colleagues for how they have gotten me through this. The referrals to plastic surgeon and oncologist that she set me up with were also outstanding and the whole team works seamlessly all through. I especially appreciated the research papers that were provided to me to support my understanding of the cancer, and the many extra steps that Prof Winter took to ensure that the treatment plan was the best possible and no stone was left unturned.
