First met Mr Winter back in September 2019 after being referred to his department having been diagnosed with P16 positive cancer in my throat. From the first meeting he was re-assuring, positive and answered all my numerous questions explaining the process of the forthcoming operation and radiotherpy treatment that would follow.
32 months later having last week had my half yearly monthly check up post treatment Mr Winter was again present to answer what I am sure are questions he answers ever day in a manor that conveys re-assurance and for me confidence that I am being treated on an ongoing basis by a leader in his medical field of excellence.
