I have had a complete knee replacement which was carried out by Prof. Chapman Sheath who was at all times professional, whilst remaining easy to talk to and explained everything thoroughly as to what the operation involved. The operation was successful and I recovered well. I would add that his secretary too was always helpful, efficient and very pleasant.
As I have said the care I received from Professor Chapman Sheath was excellent, but by way of constructive suggestion, it would have been a much better experience for me if the hospital itself had the same level of care. I was not impressed at all with the The Spire, Southampton.
