My G.P. arranged a consultation with Prof. Malek earlier this year, to investigate chronic pain in the right hip. He quickly diagnosed wear to the joint and recommended a Total Hip Replacement (TRP). Prof. Malek consultation was both professional and reassuring, serving to lower my raised anxiety levels, elevated after hearing the term "elective surgery". A treatment plan was quickly arranged through his excellent secretary and scheduled for late in the year at The Grosvenor Nuffield Hospital. The operation was a complete success, with 95% mobility restored within 7 weeks of the operation.
I would have no reservation in recommending Prof. Malek, his theatre surgical team, his administration staff, the NHS and the Nuffield Hospital staff for the pre and post operative care.
