Covid-19 closed the swimming pools, being my main form of exercise. To maintain fitness I began road running, which aggravated an old hip condition which had cleared many years ago. By early February 2021 I could only walk with the aid of a stick, so arranged a consultation with Mr Malek .
He fitted a new titanium right hip in late March, and by now (mid-June) I have fully resumed all normal activities - cycling, hill-walking etc. - with no discomfort. I am hardly aware that I have a prosthetic hip.
Thank you Mr Malek for giving me back my quality of life!!
