The professor explained the results of my MRI scans and compared my situation to a similar case he had dealt with explaining the surgery that would be necessary and alleviating all my concerns, explaining the expected outcome and recovery time.
The professor performed my surgery, I felt relaxed and the team supporting him were very kind and sympathetic. Post surgery I was provided all the necessary contact numbers for the SMART team and the wound team able to assist me once I was discharged from hospital.
The surgery was successful which I owe to the professor and his team who have provided a first class experience for me, with the prospect of my upper body returning to full strength and enabling me to continue with sports and leisure activities which i would otherwise no longer have been able to continue.
