Outstanding service to my partner. I also wrote the CEO if the trust to express our gratitude. Tahmina is an outstanding surgeon and as welcoming and approachable as she is skilled and thorough. Letter to Surrey and Sussex Healthcare: Angela Stevenson Chief executive Surrey & Sussex Healthcare East Surrey Hospital Redhill. RH1 5RH 23rd Aug. 22 Review of Ophthalmic treatment Mrs Hannah Rose Dear Ms Stevenson, I wanted to personally thank you for the outstanding service your hospital has provided to my partner Mrs Rose. She has been under treatment for ‘Narrow Angle Glaucoma’ for the last couple of months. Monitoring is ongoing. It was a traumatic and painful condition that led to a four night stay in the Acute Medical Unit. During this time she was under the care of Dr. Tahmina Pearsall and Dr. Muhammad Abdulkader. We want to express our gratitude to these two specialists as well as the support staff. Their work and attention to her case has been remarkable and thorough. They were helped by the fact that the Hospital systems appeared to function well and the nurses and other staff were aware of her case at each stage and were also very efficient and friendly. Both doctors are clearly highly skilled, but they have a friendly and confident manner. This is both reassuring and comforting. Please pass on our sincere thanks to them both. On another matter while she was in hospital it was important for her to stay in good contact with myself and her family. Sadly, the WiFi system was so slow it was almost unusable. I understand that there is a large demand from the many inpatients and visitors. However, it’s extremely important for patient and family reassurance that they can be in good contact. I feel it would be of great benefit for the WiFi system to be improved. To add to our frustration the Mobile phone coverage at the site is very poor. I understand that this outside your control, but I feel that you could raise this as an issue with various providers, or a formal request to Ofcom. The Hospital is a key site to have good coverage. It would benefit everyone on the site as well as reducing the demand on the hospital WiFi system. Yours sincerely, Ian Russell
