Having had a disheartening experience with a previous surgeon I was almost at the point of giving up on having Brest surgery. However after researching the hospital website I booked an initial consultation with Ms De Sousa. I came out of the appointment completely elated with her understanding and compassion. I felt completely at ease and trusting of the choices we discussed. I was extremely lucky to get a cancellation, meaning surgery was scheduled sooner than I had thought. That said I was under no pressure to rush the process. All aspects of surgery were covered & explained and her team were able to chase pending cardiac results in order for us to meet the date planned. The care and attention to detail was nothing short of superb and installed nothing but confidence in myself. Following the surgery, the follow up care was as just as excellent. I cannot thank Ms De Sousa and her team enough as throughout the process, communication and explanations were second to non. I have already recommended her to others, after such a positive experience. I am completely overjoyed with my results and I feel so grateful I chose Ms De Sousa. Thank you to the whole team at the Alexandra Hospital, Cheadle for looking after me so so well.
