When we first went to see Mrs Craig I was extremely anxious about my husbands condition. (Probably more anxious than my husband as he really hadn't taken in fully what was the problem.) We found a very caring person who made us feel that we were the only ones that she had been dealing with that day.
She explained exactly (with a diagram) what was the matter and what she hoped to be able to do. She also explained fully what would happen if she couldn't get the bowel re-joined tightly enough to be used immediately. She was still 'fighting his corner' at surgery when another problem arose, but completed a successful operation.
Together with her two trusted, caring nurses Tracey and Yvonne its a good team to have on your side.
