This doctor was friendly and approachable. She explained new terms to me in an unhurried way and also explained the process which was right for my situation. She answered my questions and was patient and compassionate throughout, when I was frightened about learning that I had cancer.
Today when she told me all the cancer had been removed in the operation, she seemed genuinely delighted to explain that further treatment was preventative only.
Her approach is exactly what I want to experience in a consultant surgeon and I cannot thank her enough.
