When I received the diagnosis of breast cancer this came as a complete shock. I was going through a bereavement of a significant family member, and as I had no symptoms, was not going to attend the routine screening. Thank goodness I did. I was extremely distressed at the appointment but was treated thoughtfully and respectfully, and given the time to discuss everything. Surgery was offered promptly. Mrs Carmichael was an exceptionally calming influence in the day of surgery, my wounds are thoughtfully positioned and are barely visible. All the staff in recovery were so positive about her too. I would highly recommend her.
