I wish to express how fantastic my recent operation with Mr Naqui was. From my initial consultation right through to the day of the operation I felt like he totally understood how I was feeling and really listened to my views. I had initially been told my procedure was to be done under general anaesthetic, the procedure I was having was a wrist arthroscopy but due to my job or jobs I am a driving instructor and a martial arts instructor both jobs require me to use my wrist on a daily basis, so we discussed the option of me being awake for this procedure and if I'm honest I was a little worried about being put to sleep. Therefore, I had this done under a block which numbs the arm and wrist. The anaesthetist who performed the block and all Mr Naqui's team treated me exceptionally well and were very patient with me. I am so glad I was able to stay awake for the procedure as well I had the experience of watching what was happening whilst Mr Naqui talked me through it. I was able to see the internal damage which was causing me the pain and how Mr Naqui perfomed the procedure to remove damaged tissue it was quiet amazing to see. I would highly recommend being awake for this operation. The outcome is fantastic I am approximately 3 months on and the dull ache / pain has gone which is amazing. I have full mobility again from the wrist which I can not thank Mr Naqui and his team for enough . Thank you again
