I have recently received outstanding treatment from Mr Zaf Naqui and would like to express my sincerest gratitude to him. I definitely would recommend Mr Naqui most highly. I was referred to Mr Naqui due to symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Base of Thumb Arthritis. On arriving for my initial Consultation I was handed a Questionnaire by the receptionist. It had been left for me by Mr Naqui and the questions related to the problems and symptoms experienced by his patients. Requesting this level of detail I feel demonstrates that Mr Naqui has a diligent and exacting attitude towards his patients and as a Surgeon. On meeting Mr Naqui I immediately felt reassured by his professional, pleasant and caring disposition. He listened to me attentively and displayed empathy and interest. Mr Naqui voiced his opinion and proposed course of action in a detailed, clear and concise manner ensuring I had the opportunity to ask any questions. He also advised me of his website and directed me to the pages that were relevant to my problems. I found the website to be very informative and helpful as I was able to read and absorb the information easily and at my own pace. After the Consultation, diagnostic investigations, a Carpal Tunnel Decompression, follow-up care and appointments were all organized swiftly. I would like to highlight at this point Mr Naqui's excellent secretary Candice who is extremely efficient, obliging, considerate and friendly. A further quality that Candice has is that she actually answers her phone, responds to messages promptly and keeps one informed. All too often some secretaries constantly let their calls go to voicemail and don't reply to messages until much later. Candice makes the whole process stress free and I extend my thanks to her too. The investigations also confirmed that I have Base of Thumb Arthritis. After a detailed discussion with Mr Naqui it was felt best at this stage for this to be treated conservatively. I really liked this cautious approach whilst in addition being advised when it would be necessary to consider further options. The Carpal Tunnel Decompression went extremely smoothly and I was put completely at ease by Mr Naqui's kind, professional and experienced manner. I had total confidence in him and also his theatre team who were first-rate too. A week after the procedure I was referred to Lindsey a Hand Therapist. I found her to be superb and her treatment, advice and information was extremely helpful and beneficial. Thanks to Mr Naqui I now have relief from the painful and troublesome symptoms that I have endured for so long. The incision has healed well and is neat and barely visible. Mr Naqui is a skilled, diligent, considerate Surgeon and an extremely nice person. Together with his excellent team he runs an exceptionally well-organized, professional and efficient practice for which I am very grateful. My overall experience has been first-class and I cannot recommend Mr Zaf Naqui highly enough!
