My name is Nick Pearse, and I am a professional actor. I was referred to Mr Kim in March 2015 with a suspected lateral meniscal tear of the right knee (sustained during a live theatrical performance), and he performed a partial meniscectomy in the following April. Those are the dry facts - I'd like to add some detail to that by saying that as a consultant, Mr Kim listens, and explains details of both the injury and the required surgery very well and very clearly; and as a surgeon, well, I was told to expect to be on crutches for up to four weeks after the operation. I was off crutches after two days, started physio within a week and half of the op, and now, eight weeks later, I am almost back to full fitness - I think that speaks volumes about Mr Kim's skills as an orthopaedic surgeon.
