Early 2023 i had my first visit to Goring Hall Hospital to address a condition I had been suffering from for a number of years - Nocturia. This condition had built up over a number of years and became very bothersome as I was needing to visit the bathroom up to 11 times during the night. I was booked into Goring Hall Hospital for an assessment to be made by Mr Waleed Al- Singary. Following this assessment an appointment was mad for a TURIS/ TURP / BN day procedure to be performed following pre operation routines that were carried out on 15th May. This was carried out on the 19th May 2023 following pre assessment being On my visits to the hospital I was in receipt of exemplary and courteous treatment with all of my needs being efficiently attended to. Any concerns I had were fully explained and all questions were comprehensively answered with patience, empathy and positivity. I fully appreciate that this was a team effort and all members of the team (without exception) were engaged in making me feel comfortable, keeping me fully informed as I went through the “process”. I felt there was no hurry or pressure even though It took some time for me to produce the requisite “evidence” that flows were getting back to “normal” prior to being allowed to go home. I received treatment from a focussed and helpful group of professionals who worked as a closely knit group headed up by Mr Waleed Al-Singary The procedure resulted in an excellent flow being established with no overflow or incontinence and it is a joy to have a full nights sleep. It was reassuring to learn that there is on going follow up available for a period of time if so required.
