I attended my consultation. This was running 45 minutes late. I didnt mind this, these things happen. However I was greater with I have tried to cnut you this afternoon because I knew I was going to be late. I tried to explain where I work I don't get good signal. I was told that he was wanting to get back ground information from me before my appointment so it would be quicker. I'm sorry but if I've pied for a 30 minute face to face appointment that's what I expect. I was then asked what the problem was NOW, not in the past but now!. Well when this has been an ongoing problem for months it's not just about NOW! I was then told that Drs mis diagnose ear infections and he doubts I even had ear infections. So straight away I felt I was been rushed, unlisted to and a nusence. He had a quick look in my ears. My left ear was dull and retracted. I explained I'd just finished some antibiotics so they have settled but I will have a flare up again with in a week. I was sent to audiology for hearing test and pressure test. This was arranged quickly. Both tests came back normal despite me still been I pain. I was then told by Dr Olarinde there was nothing wrong with my ears and it will clear up on its own. 4 days later I end up in stepping hill A&E with a bad double ear infection. I was seen by ENT who prescribed some antibiotics. I had a follow up appointment yesterday where I had a camera up mu nose. They could only get a little way up due to how narrow the tubes were. They have recommended me having grommets to help with the pressure in my head and prevent more ear infection. I feel like at my appointment with Dr Olarinde I was listened to or taken seriously. I dont feel like I was looked at properly and fell like I've wasted a lot of money for no answers. I'm now looking at possibly going private for the grommets due to how my life is been impacted but my experience with Dr Orlarinde is putting me off.
