I have full trust in this consultant . I have had 2 laproscopies of my shoulder both sides in 2004 and 2007 at St Anthony's. Which was very successful. Unfortunately the Profession I am in Radiographer and wearing of aprons long hours in theatre, excerts alot of pressure on my shoulders and as I also tend to do alot of heavy DIY which I love, I had reactivated the shouder problem again and had to have a redo at St Helier. This again was a very successful laproscope and I have got back at least 80% of my movement and am pain free. Mr Patel will only do any OPs only if it is justified and warrants it, and it improves the life style of the patient. I also work with this surgeon in a private practice and watched him do these operation. He is very methodical and takes his time to get everything right as to the reason I chose him as my Consultant for my shoulders. He is a man of few words but a good listener
