Overall he was very friendly and seemed nice but we did not get the feeling he was particularly caring and seemed very quick to recommend surgery. We asked why two other surgeons had recommended physiotherapy and not surgery he simply responded that he was the top person in the country and we were just not convinced. We hope our review does not sway you from seeing him and making up your own mind.

Response from Mr Tony Kochhar

Thank you for your feedback. It is always helpful to receive feedback from patients. I am sorry you felt I was quick to recommend surgery - from your review (I'm sorry it does not state your name so I cannot provide anything more than a general response) you had clearly come to see me for a second opinion and I can only imagine without referencing any details about your case that physiotherapy had not helped in the past. My approach is always to try conservative measures first and if these do not work then surgery is considered as an option. If you would like to discuss your case in more detail please contact me via my office and I would be happy to talk through in more detail.
