I felt confident of Mr Hammond's ability to carry out my hernia operation successfully from the very first consultation. Mr Hammond was recommended to me by another surgeon at Broomfield Hospital who had carried out a stomach by pass operation on me very effectively and efficiently. My trust in this surgeon's recommendation was well founded. The operation was fairly complex and lengthy and and recovery was as described. I have since had a follow up telephone consultation with Mr Hammond who covered all my questions and concerns since the operation and is happy for me to contact his secretary should I have any problems or concerns.
