Mr Satyadas repaired an inguinal hernia for me at the Alexandra hospital. I was seen very quickly and operated on within days, the whole process taking less than a week.
My care throughout was of the highest standard and could not be faulted.
I had a hernia some 15 years previously on my other side which was corrected with open surgery , but this treatment was undertaken laparoscopically. The experience this time was completely different. I had virtually no post-operative pain and took no pain relief after 6 hours. My recovery was very speedy and I was pronounced fit and ready for anything within 12 days. I can honestly say that, if it was not for the three small wounds in my lower abdomen , I would not have realised I had undergone the procedure at all. A first class result.
