Mr Satyadas diagnosed and operated on me for a form of cancer that is aggressive and difficult to treat. He was straightforward, empathetic and approachable throughout my treatment. He is one of the lead surgeons in the so called MDT Group at Manchester Royal. Throughout I felt confident in being cared for. His reputation as a prominent - perhaps the prominent - surgeon for my form of cancer was a great reassurance and comfort to me. He was obviously delighted that against the odds my cancer had not spread to other organs and on my discharge from his care I feel optimistic and grateful as I embark on a course of chemotherapy.
