I was referred to Mr Jeddy for thyroid treatment. After various investigations, Mr Jeddy carefully and clearly explained the various options, from monitoring to total removal, and the associated risks. I felt completely informed and confident enough to decide to have a total thyroidectomy.
On the day of my surgery, Mr Jeddy saw me and again explained exactly what would happen and the various risks involved.
My surgery went very well, I didn't require pain relief or have any adverse affects on my voice. I left hospital the next day, was driving confidently in under a week and back to quite a physical job at the end of two weeks.
My thyroid was tested for cancer and the results have proven to be non-malignant.
Throughout the whole of my treatment, I was treated with respect and kindness, Mr Jeddy was upbeat, confident and a calming presence in what could have been a very stressful and upsetting time.
