My daughter (11 years old) had been experiencing abdominal pain for several months and been through numerous gastro tests. I insisted on seeing a surgeon and after calling numerous consultant's secretaries I knew instantly when I spoke to his secretary I wanted my daughter to see him and 2 days later we saw him on a Friday evening. He put my daughter at ease, told us we had as much time with him as we needed and had gone through all the notes I had emailed prior to our appointment so there was no need for us to go over too much of the history. He examined her and recommended key hole surgery, which had been my gut feeling right the start. He explained the procedure to my daughter and what he would be looking for. On the Monday morning (next working day), Mr Giuliani's secretary arranged the surgery for the following day (Tuesday). Prior to the surgery Mr Giuliani explained the procedure again to us and post op care, ensuring we both understood. Straight after the surgery Mr Giuliani explained the findings. In my daughter's words "he's amazing, he's cured me". He is very approachable, open minded and listened to my daughter. Mr Giuliani and his secretary both went of their way to make my daughter's surgery possible so quickly. My only regret is that we hadn't seen him sooner!
