I had a follow up appointment today for a further breast problem.
When I had my first op for breast cancer In 2012, I was surprised and extremely reassured that Mr Ahmed spent so much time at my bedside pre op explaining what would happen. His bedside manner was absolutely fantastic and I totally trusted him to carry out my op.
Today I still found him very professional, friendly, reassuring and thorough when he examined me. I preferred to come directly to secondary care since I trust the surgical team more than I have faith in primary care! He told me in such a charming and evidence based way that I can reduce my chances of disease recurrence by losing some more weight and cutting down on my alcohol consumption.
I couldn't ask for more from a surgeon - Mr Ahmed is great, I trust him completely.
