I saw Simon Smith in August regarding my parathyroid. I was under another Trust who
we’re completely useless and had cancelled three appointments to see a Surgeon.
Simon listened to me and said he would take on my case and I had my operation to remove one parathyroid gland at the end of November in Broomfield Hospital.
Simon is very knowledgeable, polite, professional and friendly.
I can’t thank Simon enough for taking my case on as I was really struggling with the illness and I’m now on the mend and feeling so much better now.
Also many thanks go to his wonderful Secretary, Ruth Goodwin who was always available at the end of the phone when my Drs/Hospital were not being very helpful.
Ruth and Simon are both assets to the NHS. Once again, a big thank you to you both x
