As i was a self-referal to The Spire Mr Pearce initally came over as a little forbidding, but as soon as he had seen my NHS diagnosis, saw I was a genuine patient I felt more relaxed. However a lot of possible downsides to the opp; left me in doubt, I signed the consent form anyhow as my pain and discomfort over rode my doubts. When I met Mr Pearce before the opp; I found him to be totally reassuring, dispelling my concerns The hip replacement was a total success! No problems at all, .A good clean scar and I am now able to walk normally again.I am delighted with Mr Pearce's surgury and do not hesitate to recommend him 100%. I was disappointed with the way I was discharged after only 54 hours, having paid upwards of three thousand five hundred pounds for my aftercare and meals! With minimal instruction from the physio therapist on mobility. I was told initally I would be in for 3-5 days. When I came back, the admin had failed to make my appointment with Mr Pearce, having already given me a date and time on my hasty discharge. Some one evidently put my records in the basement. Not impressed!! Had to wait an hour along with my carer and driver for him to be free to see me, not his fault. Started driving again after 2 months, little stiff entering the vehicle but no problems once mobile.Did some practice runs on my driveway to to see that I was ok first! Sincerly, D.R.B.
