I first met Mr Monkhouse back in December 15 when I went for a consultation about my gallbladder. First impressions really do count & as soon as I met him, I thought that he was a nice man, he listened to my concerns and explained everything that I needed to know. Mr Monk-house told me to contact him if I had any further incidents of pain between when I saw him & my operation.
My operation to remove my gallbladder was on the 05/02/16 to say I was apprehensive was an understatement, Mr Monkhouse and all of his team at the North Downs Hospital looked after me so well. I can't emphasise enough how being treated with care, understanding and compassion made such a massive difference to my experience of what was my first operation in my life.
My operation was a success and my physical recovery has gone really well. I can't thank Mr Monkhouse and his team enough.
