My problem being a very severe prolapse where the cervix had totally descended. My concern being that the only treatment appeared to be a hysterectomy. Research on the web produced an alternative given by Mr. Simon Jackson, I had concerns about the use of mesh to hold the prolapse in place which were thoroughly discussed with Simon Jackson who totally understood my concerns and explained exactly how the mesh would be used and it's advantages in this case. Having had the operation a laparoscopic hysteropexy with stress incontinence I cannot totally describe how amazing I now feel, I did not expect the result to be so good. Prolapse and stress incontinence have both gone. the recovery time was also wonderful after a week I was out to lunch, walking to meet a friend a short distance. Within a couple of weeks I was walking some distance and with a short daily rest life was more or less back to normal, only much, much improved. such a short recovery time. Simon Jackson was caring and so easy to converse with about very personal problems, he was at all times caring and considerate to put me at ease. I am so pleased I found him, I travelled from Somerset to Oxford as I had such confidence in his treatment and care. I am so, so pleased I did and cannot recommend Mr Simon Jackson enough.
