I have had 2 ACL replacements in the same knee by two other consultants and when this one failed I took the advice of my osteopath and sought out Simon Ellis for his advice at KIMs hospital
I would describe Simon as calm, professional, knowledgeable, approachable and treats his patients as valued individuals
Simon arranged a CT scan in addition to the MRI and xrays I already had from my prior consultant. He discussed my lifestyle and how the knee issues affected me. He explained what he could see on the scans, discussing best option scenarios. This included referrals to particular specialists for the complex issue i had, with consideration of how I would get there and back following any procedure
Any question is clearly answered and explained, and follow up appointments and letters quickly provided. A really nice man as well as 'top notch' consultant
By far one of the best consultants i have seen over the years
