I had a unicompartmental Knee Replacement at King George Hospital on 19th July 2023, performed by Mr. Shankar.
My treatment by the hospital staff and Mr. Shankar was first class.
My twelve week follow up had to be cancelled due to illness.
I had my follow up today (16/1/2024) with Mr. Shankar at Queens Hospital.
He is a very pleasant man, who takes time to explain things and listens to you as a patient.
My operation was a complete success, and has changed my life. I am back playing football and going to the gym.
I would highly recommend this Consultant .
I would also like to say a big thank you to the COPE team of nurses who visited me at home to change my dressings and make me do my exercises.
Hard taskmasters, lovely personalities and wonderful nurses.
My whole experience with Mr. Shankar and all of his team was extremely pleasant.
