He answered my questions I had about the gastric sleeve and gave pros and cons of both the gastric sleeve and gastric bypass and also have recommended watching on YouTube about the surgery. He is very approachable in asking questions even on the day of surgery and will explain it in a way that you can understand. In theatres and post op he ensured comfort by explaining who was in the operating theatre and why they were there and post op making sure that the pain killers were prescribed. He also showed pictures of the stomach being removed and the staples in place and explained how and why he had done what he had done. He also supplied leaflets on the post op care I needed prior to the operation so that I could understand what I needed to do. Mr Awad has changed my life doing the gastric sleeve for the better. His bedside manner is fantastic and the knowledge and information that he will pass onto patients and their families about the procedures are brilliant. My husband had no problems understanding what I needed pre and post op. I would recommend Mr Awad very much
