Dr Awad and his team have been amazing throughout this process. They have been kind, respectfully and well informed.
On the day of my surgery, I was made to feel calm (as much as you can be given the circumstances). This being my first ever time in hospital let alone surgery I really appreciated this. I remember being escorted to the surgery room at Burcot Hospital and the porter taking the time to talk to me, i remember the music in the surgery room that calmed me down even more (you dont have to have the music). I will forever be thankful for Dr Awads help. They journey is hard, but no regrets.
