Mr. Awad saved my eyesight and my life... I had surgery April 2021 (VSG) through Tonic. Pre-surgery I was incredibly anxious with a lot of questions, all of which were too much trouble for /mr Awad to take the time in discussing in a reassuring and professional manner. The whole team on the day of my surgery at Burcott Hall was incredible - they calmed me down, reassured me, held my hand, and treated me with respect and dignity. Never at any point during the whole procedure was I made to feel inadequate or silly.... Mr Awad understood that I find the whole procedure really fascinating and was kind enough to show me the images and 'science' of my operation. He was also on-hand pre and post-surgery to talk through any concerns, and also to phone my husband after the procedure to let him know it had been successful. My follow-up's with Mr Awad have been short and sweet, it's a shame they couldn't be face to face, but equally if I have any issues I know I could contact him at any point. Not only has the surgery meant I have lost 11 stone in weight, gone from a size 22 to a UK ladies size 10, but I have also been put into remission for my IIH disease. I no longer take medication, and I am running FOR FUN and have totally gained my life and confidence back. I just wish I had done it in my twenties..... thank you Mr Awad and your incredible team.
