I recently suffered my second attack of biliary colic caused by my gall stones which proved to be a very painful experience. I was referred to Mr Appleton who suggested the removal of my gallbladder which would give me peace of mind that I would not suffer this pain again. Being a very nervous person regarding medical intervention of any sorts, I found on meeting and discussing the situation with him I was very soon put at ease with his calming and professional nature. Going forward to the point of time for the operation, I felt that I could not have been in better hands. The operation proved to be a complete success and I was so very pleased with the level of care I received from not only Mr Appleton, but from all of the nursing staff at the Chiltern hospital. I did however require a slightly longer stay in hospital due to blood pressure issues, but this was purely precautionary. On my return home I received a telephone call from Mr Appleton late in the evening enquiring on my wellbeing and believe it or not, apologising to me because my stay in hospital was extended by a few hours. Mr Appleton is a truly kind, caring and professional man and I would strongly recommend him to any person who found themselves in need of any medical treatment.
