I was taken to A&E with severe abdominal pain. Mr Jaunoo and his team were on duty at the time. After having a scan it was identified I had a perforated bowel and sepsis. Mr Jaunoo introduced himself and explained to me that I had a perforation of my bowel and needed to have emergency life saving surgery. He explained what surgery he would be performing and the outcome of this. He gave reassurance to me and my family at a very traumatic time. Mr Jaunoo came to see me in HDU a couple of times after surgery and was so supportive and explained about the surgery he had performed and my recovery. Mr Jaunoo, you are a truly amazing, special and caring person who has given me a second chance of life. Me and my family are forever grateful to you. Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart.
