I have had two appointments (30/11.20 and 15/12/20) for a wrist fracture at the Fracture Clinic at Lewisham Hospital. Mr Shah Punwar was the consultant with whom I had the two appointments. Both appointments were very pleasant experiences. Mr Shah is a thoughtful, respectful, good humoured, informative and encouraging man. He was a good listener and advisor and he had time to absorb the information that I was giving him. So much so that he remembered that I had said that I was an artist and that having full use of my hands was really precious to me. I read that he had mentioned, in a trauma waiting list plan, the importance of me as an artist having a volar plate that would best serve me with fixation. I was very touched and I thanked him. I noted too, that he is very generous with his time with everyone around him and that he seems to be a worthy team player. A lovely man, I am so grateful.
