I would first of all like to thank Mr Sandeep Datir for performing my hip replacement operation with skill and dexterity. As a patient with hearing difficulties and with all this taking place under Covid restrictions he carefully explained all the procedures and risks involved with the operation as well as all the aftercare. Also many thanks to the anesthetists and nurses involved in both the operation and recovery.The physiotherapists always had smiles on their faces whilst performing a rather difficult task. Seven weeks on from discharge it is wonderful to be walking about being pain free and not hobbling around with the aid of a walking stick. The whole experience with all the staff at the Spire Hospital was that they were professional people with a really caring attitude. This was evident through my whole stay. Staring with the pre op meeting to my discharge.
