Mr Tibrewal recently carried out my second knee replacement of the year so these comments are partially a reflection/comparison of my earlier experience with a different consultant.
He was friendly and welcoming and genuinely listed to my issues and concerns. He was honest about the likely outcomes and did not avoid any questions. The operation was performed just over 6 weeks ago and I was in hospital for two nights compared with three before. I also felt that the recovery process has been better so far than for the first one. The operation scar was also a lot shorter and neater than the first one. I saw him recently for a follow up and he was pleased with the results to the extent that he no longer wishes to see me.
So far so good.
