I had a Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) or (rodent ulcer) of eyelid (close to tear drainage system) surgery. Mr. Salvi completely excised and reconstructed under my left eyelid. Mr. Salvi new straight away what it was and wanted to remove it as soon as possible. I had to have the procedure done over 2 stages which was good, as Mr. Salvi needed to be 100 % sure that it was a BCC and to make sure that he’d removed it all and then he could reconstruct my lower eyelid. I cannot thank him enough, he listens and is very kind and understanding and knows his field of work. He has made a fantastic job of my eyelid, but obviously the main thing was to remove it completely first. I must admit I was so worried, but had every bit of faith in him. I highly recommend Mr. Salvi. My consultation and operation/procedure was carried out at Claremont Private Hospital, Sheffield.
