Mr Jain performed a total right knee replacement at end of September. I stayed in for one night only as the physio stated that I had ticked all boxes as was able to transfer onto chair, toilet and use staircase. On return to home I was on walking sticks but got up and down stairs easily and did small physical exercises to increase my mobility. My first physio appointment was very good and was given new exercises to perform at home, some of them were uncomfortable but doing them everyday meant my knee and walking improved immediately. It is so important that you do the physio given to you even if at first it hurts but it definitely becomes easier over time. Three months after the operation I am back to full strength and mobility.
