I had a necessary replacement knee operation 12 months ago which now allows me to walk where I couldn't before. I am now playing golf, swimming and doing a lot of walking. Without the operation which was relatively quick and pain free, my life would have been really limited. At KIMs, I was in the hands of a very professional team led by Mr. Jain.
Post op, the one thing I struggled with was sleeping at night and it is important one obtains suitable pain relieve. Anyway, suffice to say, I undertook physio at the hospital which was very helpful. But before that I exercised the knee consistently even the day after. This saved scar tissue building up which could have inhibited movement. I cannot overestimate the importance of exercise right after the operation. It is likely I am going to have another knee operation and would not hesitate to go through the same process at KIMS.
