I saw Mr Gupta as an outpatient at Ashford Hospital on the 22nd September 2022 regarding a very painful elbow that was restricted of any movement, the X-Ray revealed the bones were rubbing together. Mr Gupta could see how much pain I was in & booked me into Ashford Hospital as a matter of urgency for an elbow replacement. I was so grateful when the appointment came through for the 26th October 2022 in the early morning. I had never been to Ashford for treatment before & was very nervous but was soon put at ease with a visit from Mr Gupta prior to the operation and a separate visit from Ali Mr Gupta’s Registrar. This was one of three visits to the Ward by Mr Gupta, the second when I came out of Theatre and the third on his way home late in the evening. The following morning I again saw Mr Gupta and Ali and the operation procedures were explained to me again which was very helpful. After two weeks I had a blip in the movement in my elbow, I called the Rowley Bristow Unit at St Peter’s Hospital and Mr Gupta fitted me into his busy schedule that afternoon for an X-Ray & check up, I was put at ease immediately after the X-Ray appeared normal. Six weeks later I have fantastic movement from the elbow, in part due to the vigorous physiotherapy Mr Gupta requested. I will see Mr Gupta in six weeks for a follow up appointment. I cannot recommend Mr Gupta and his team highly enough, I could not have been given better treatment than I received.
