Mr Gupta did a shoulder replacement as wear and tear had worn away any cartilidge in my shoulder and it was bone on bone. I was at first reluctant to have the operation but having suffered with reduced movement and pain for quite a bit, Mr Gupta assured me it was the only solution and, even though I still might have some restricted movement, I would be free of pain.
He was quite right. 6 months after the operation I have no pain and full movement - I can swim doing crawl for 1,000 metres which was my aim. I'd delighted with the results.
