As a private patient. looking for a surgeon to carry out your procedure can be quite daunting as there are so many surgeons to choose from, all with the correct qualifications and good reviews, and appear to be exactly what you're looking for. However, there was something special that stood out to me about Mr Winterton profile, and that was he wrote about 'him and his team', and team work is something that I believe in and therefore, I decided to book an appointment to see Mr Winterton. When we met, I sat in front of a man who greeted me with an informal introduction and a genuine warm smile. I then began to explain the reason for my visit. Mr Winterton carefully listened, emanated complete empathy, care and understanding whilst maintaining my dignity and privacy at all times. Mr Winterton, was warm and friendly, and spoke with integrity and a passion for helping to improve the quality of life for his patients. So, at the end of my consultation, I knew I had chosen the right person to carry out my treatment. On the day of my surgery, Mr Winterton's caring and professional qualities remained and I felt very much at ease. I then met with Mr Waits, Mr Winterton's anaesthetist and again, I was completely reassured that I was going to be in very safe hands as he too presented with the same caring values as his colleague. Waking up from surgery, both consultants came to the bedside and talked about my surgery which I may add was a success! Finally, after many years of really suffering from head, neck, shoulders and back pain, I am now on the road to finally regaining my quality of life. Mr Winterton, Mr Waits and your team of professional angels .... Thank you! From the start of my surgical journey, correspondence and support from all practitioners involved has been excellent. Thank you all for looking after me and helping me to live again! So, would I recommend Mr Winterton and his team ... YES, without any hesitation, and I know as a patient, if your expectation is real, you will not be disappointed with your surgical results!
