Dr Milligan was able to not only provide me with every option available, I feel he went above and beyond his role by explaining, in depth, what each option would entail. Because this was such a stressful and anxious time, Dr Milligan had a great deal of patience and understanding leading to his full explanation of procedures to not only myself but also my husband and sister. From the very beginning, Dr Milligan provided a very personable and relaxed approach. He was able to completely put me at ease in what was one of the scariest moments of my life. He has such a great temperament and he really is a credit to NHS. Personal touches of him coming to visit me after surgery due to an overnight stay only strengthened the amazing work that he does. Such a small touch however had the most amazing impact on me. Not only did he provide me with such care, I genuinely feel like each time we spoke was like a counselling session, making me feel so much more relaxed. He passion for his job shines through with Dr Milligan showing real enthusiasm and expertise around breast cancer and moving treatment forward.
